Lovely, raku pottery lamp presented in a charcoal clay that has the classic raku firing pattern. Lamp is not a glossy glaze and still has the very textured feel of pottery. Greens dominate the colors that are present with some metallics and gold and some copper at the bottom. At the top, the artist applied a piece of driftwood by twisting wire and attaching it into the pottery attached to the driftwood are three pieces of turquoise stone. The finial has been intentionally aged to to have a vertigreee so to match the lamp.

Signed Conrad on the bottom and the clay

There are some fissures that descend from the neck of the pottery and I can feel them with my fingernail when I run my fingernail over them , pottery is stable, but we do want to point these out. We believe most of these would have occurred during firing. One appears to be more of a hairline based upon the coloring of fissure. We show it in the picture.
