Vintage Michelangelo Book Printed in Italy

Lovely vintage, art book, this book on Michelangelo was printed in Italy. It is full of color plates, as full pages or two per page. The book is a close-up of the paintings on the Sistine chapel. The book also includes a schematic of how each one of these color plates fits into the full painting on the Sistine chapel ceiling. It’s a pretty book to display or you could frame some of the color pages.

Book cover, has tears and wear to the edge from handling, some of the edges have yellowed with age, there is black marker on one of the title pages that was used to block something out that we are not familiar with as this was done previously
