Vintage French Pink and Green J Pouyat Limoges Porcelain Tureen

Stunning French, porcelain tureen, presented in a crisp, white with a light green garland pattern that frames bouquet of petal pink roses, and baby blue and lavender violets. Accenting the pattern are bright, metallic gold handles, that have a splayed leaf pattern. The tureen has a pedestal base that gives it nice lift. Even the inside is decorated with bouquets of floral. This is a beautiful piece to display, it is eye-catching. Perfect to use today for serving a meal, is nice size for mashed potatoes, vegetable sides, and even a soup.

Hallmark on the bottom

No cracks, no chips. The gold trim along the rim of the bowl shows paint loss likely from where the lid has been resting. Minor gold paint loss along the rim of the lid and the handles likely from use.
