Vintage French Glazed Confit Terracotta Jar

Gorgeous old French confit jar presented in a patina’d appeal, old terracotta handles jug with sunflower yellow, emerald green and brown swirled and dripping glaze. The antique jar has been fitted as a lamp, likely in late 20th century (jar predates that). These jars are imperfect, and lovely in their sense of old works charm. Jar has been fitted upon a round wooden base.

There is some loss of glaze from sides, two spots were touched up with color. One shows clay below. Clay bottom shows wear that you would expect with unevenness on clay only (see pic). There are scuffs to glaze and some glaze crackleature by one handle with some flaking. Brass cap has tarnish visible.

Powers on, push switch on socket for power. Standard US bulb and cord. 250W 250V socket.
