Vintage Chinoiserie Ginger Jar by Andrea Sadek
Pretty Asian ginger jar, presented and a creamy background glaze that has Craisins throughout, with royal blue and ox blood red designs. Depicted on the front is a bird with long tail feathers, perched in a weeping willow tree branch. Around the base stylized symbols for bats are presented in blue, with geometric patterns around the neck in the ox blood red. These patterns repeat on the lid as well. Ginger jar is shaped as a hexagon, adding a nice detail. On the back, weeping willow and Flowers are painted. Pretty piece to add to a collection or along a bookcase for a bit of chinoiserie vibe.

Nice condition, no chips, no cracks. Paper label remains in the bottom. There are some imperfections that occurred during the time of the piece was made such as over glazing or an even painting and glazing. The knob on the lid is unglazed.
