Vintage Blue Otagiri Stoneware a teapot and Four Cups

Wonderful old stoneware set by Otagiri, presented in a deep, inky, blue spatter glaze, the inside left a taupe speckled glaze as accent. In the spatter glaze a deep blue, black and bluish white spatter make a gorgeous design. Beautiful set to display or to use today.

Paper sticker labels remain on the bottom

These pieces are hand crafted, and may have imperfections that occurred during the manufacturing that would include uneven glazing, over painting

Tea pot measures 6 inches wide through the spout by 5.5 inches to the top of the tea kettle.
7.5 inches tall when the rattan handle is extended.
By 4.25 inches in diameter across the bottom of the team pot.

Cups measure 2 5/8 inches in diameter by 2 5/8 inches tall

Pieces are in nice condition. I can feel a roughness around the edge of the spout, there are old tea stains down the front of the spout and tea kettle, as well as evidence of use on the inside of the teapot.
