Set of Six (6) Volumes of Little Masterpieces Antique Books

Lovely set of six antique books, each, representing the works of one master. Included in the set are Poe, Franklin, Carlyle, Lamb, MacCaulay, and Thackeray. On the inside of each book a page engraved with a picture of the author is a nice touch. Bound in a red linen like fabric that has faded with time along the spine, gold, embossed title on the spine, the size, coupled with the age, make these lovely pieces to add to a vignette on your bookshelf.

Nice condition,, fading along the spine with somewhere, two corners and edges. One of the books, Franklin, has some staining across the front cover.
