Wonderful English set of eight plates, presented in a creamy white with a chocolate brown pattern that depicts historical scenes of Chinese export to America, including historical New York scenes around the rim. In the center a very patriotic ship with mast, spread above flags receives the Chinese export ship on the horizon. Made by Alfred Meakin, Staffordshire, England in the Fairwinds pattern. Pretty pieces to use through the national holidays and to add to a brown and white collection and the perfect size for dessert, bread, or small bites

Very nice condition no damage, no chips, no cracks. there is a small imperfection that occurred during the making of the piece, which is a small indent on the underside of the rim that is under the glaze.
