Don Freedman Fiber Art Promise in Birdland

Fabulous large fiber wall art by Don Freedman. Made in the 1970s, it makes a statement. constructed on a metal round frame, a large piece of soft fabric has silk threads woven into raised patterns on the front of tall seabirds. the tones are neutrals in true creams, soft blush and taupe. a rope is wrapped around the outside edge adding to the oceanic vibes. A small clay token is attached to the fabric with Don Freedman’s signature in the clay. this piece brings beachy and coastal vibes, and takes center stage with its large size.
