Contemporary Black and White Chinoiserie Vase
Lovely, contemporary Chinese, ceramic vase, presented in a very crisp, white with a deep, dark Ebony black transfer pattern. The pattern around the side depicts roosters in an outdoor setting with other birds flocking in the trees. The pattern is framed by a geometric design that matches that often found on blue willow patterns . The vase set the top for foo dogs one on each corner and then the pedestal base. This gives it a nice lift, and some interesting detail This distinctive framing adds a touch of timeless elegance, making it a perfect addition to both traditional and contemporary spaces. The foo dogs, a symbol of protection and prosperity in Chinese culture, add a touch of grandeur and cultural significance to the overall design.
11 inches tall by 7.75 inches wide by 7.75 inches deep across the top.
Nice condition, no cracks, no chips. There’s evidence that has been used as a vase before, with some mild staining on the inside. There are some imperfections in the transfer of the design that include some unevenness of the transfer were a pattern slightly overlaps or didn’t transfer completely.
