Collection of Two (2) Blue Splatter Pottery Candlestick Holders
Very lovely collection of two glazed pottery candleholders, each will hold a taper candle. The smaller one has an inky blue drip glaze against a gray background. Hints of red and yellow in the spatter. The second candlestick is a reproduction from Jamestown. That is a white clay and glaze with royal blue spatter throughout. Each small candle stick is nice because you can’t carry it with your fingers and it has a nice plate or tray on the bottom to catch any wax drips. These look really pretty displayed together, sitting atop books, on the bookshelf, or in the center of a table as part of a centerpiece.
Candlestick holder is 4 1/2 inches in diameter by 2.75 inches tall very nice condition, no chips, no cracks. It is marked Jamestown into the clay on the bottom.
Blue candlestick holder is 3.75 inches in diameter by 2 1/2 inches tall, no chips no cracks, there is a mild kiln, firing imperfection on the bottom. Signed illegibly on the bottom, minor wax residue left in the cup, some imperfections in the glaze with small bits of excess Clay under the glaze.
